Join Together to develop your understanding of how to implement the five principles of a Children’s Human Rights Approach in your work and organisation with a detailed focus on each principle. The UNCRC (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act 2024 brought important children’s rights protections into law in Scotland, and taking a Children’s Human Rights Approach is crucial to ensure that children’s rights are implemented in practice.
The workshops aim to equip attendees with:
- How they can consider children’s rights in their work
- Deeper knowledge of the one of five principles of a Children’s Human Rights Approach
- An understanding of the links with the other four principles
- Ideas for how to implement the principle in their working practice
- Resources for further study
Whether you’re new to this area or looking to deepen your practice, the session will draw on real-life examples and learning outcomes from the Children’s Rights Skills and Knowledge Framework to support your next steps.
All attendees will receive a participant pack to get familiar with materials and key concepts in advance.
Participation – Tue 20 January 2026, 2.30pm – 4.30pm
