Clifftop Projects are seeking a co-ordinator and facilitator responsible for three projects funded by the Youngstart budget: Art Hub, Youth Creative Nights & Youth Advisory Board.

Location – Clifftop Projects office, Castlehill, Dumbarton.
Hours of work – 20 hours a week.
Salary – £31,200 full time 37.5 hrs equivalent paid pro rata

Part of the ethos of Clifftop Projects is to ensure that participants have the best care they can give them. That means that across projects they aim for staff to be the same people in the room with participants AND communicating with them via email allowing for them to build relationships and implement changes to the programme in response. It is important therefore that the Youngstart Manager both produces the project & facilitates it to the public.

Key aspects of the role are:
– Managing the budget for Youngstart funding and providing monthly updates to Artistic Director. This would include creating Excel spreadsheets with all relevant formulas, deciding on where underspend is spent and redistributing budget lines when appropriate. It also includes tracking freelancers invoices and chasing them when appropriate.
– Overall curation and upholding a high standard across the Youngstart project.
– Co-ordinating feedback/evaluation and drafting end of year reports that directly respond to original funding application.
– Creating social media posts related to the project.
– Initiating meetings with Artistic Director to look at all of the above and provide ideas, re-inventions or new ways of doing things.
